Capturing many moods, it is a roots-based mix of genres from the boogie woogie sounds of the title track, to heartfelt upbeat ballads, and some driving pop and country blues. Stewart’s rich-toned voice exudes style, originality and a smoky sensuality. |

North County Blues Review |
Brings together a seasoned group of artists from different musical backgrounds for the express purpose of celebrating the Blues (and the end of a long winter). Peg Voigt, Karen Sweet and Pat Graham provide a fine mix of vocals and accoustic guitars and are accompanied by Ken McColm on keys and harps, with Dan Hewitt on bass and Frank Eastabrooks on drums. We've been having a grand time all winter trying new acoustic twists on old blues standards and have come up with a unique blend of harmonies and instrumental fun. |
