Loyal Blues Band

The Loyal Blues Band is comprised of Mark Bishop, Joe Callahan, Tim Campbell, Kevin Donaghue, and Peter Snell.
This is a group of musicians with extensive experience in rock and roll, blues, jazz and country. They have come together to play for this year’s festival and will be doing a number of original tunes sprinkled with favourite covers.
Some old dogs putting together some new tricks, improvisation is high on their list so you can expect some surprises during their performance

Lenni Stewart

Canadian performer Lenni Stewart’s naturally expressive vocals, distinctive stylings and rich inflections have made her a favourite performer in both her native Prince Edward County home
and across eastern Ontario. Not only a singer
but also an accomplished songwriter, Lenni has proven that she has a gift for writing heartfelt
songs with interesting melodies that make you want to hear more.

Her recent CD release “Root Cellar Boogie” explores these themes in original songs. Capturing many moods, it is a roots-based mix of genres from the boogie woogie sounds of the title track, to heartfelt upbeat ballads, and some driving pop and country blues. Stewart’s rich-toned voice exudes style, originality and a smoky sensuality.

“The richness and range of Lenni’s vocal performance is evocative of greats such as Bonnie Raitt and Maria Muldaur.”
–Christine Renaud of Express Magazine.

North County Blues Review

Brings together a seasoned group of artists from different musical backgrounds for the express purpose of celebrating the Blues (and the end of a long winter). Peg Voigt, Karen Sweet and Pat Graham provide a fine mix of vocals and accoustic guitars and are accompanied by Ken McColm on keys and harps, with Dan Hewitt on bass and Frank Eastabrooks on drums. We've been having a grand time all winter trying new acoustic twists on old blues standards and have come up with a unique blend of harmonies and instrumental fun.
