On behalf of The Loyal Blues Fellowship Inc.
I would like to thank all the friends, volunteers and supporters who worked so hard to put this event together. This is the eighth year at Loyalist College, and it just keeps getting better.
The Local Showcase is the pinnacle of our Artist Development Program and provides us with an opportunity to present new local artists, and to showcase and promote some of the regions finest veteran Blues talent. This Festival has headlined an incredible lineup of some of Canada's best Blues and Roots artists over the past 8 years and we hope for many more.
We wouldn't’t be able to do this without the support of  Loyalist College and the local music Community. We thank you, again, for your continued support!  Enjoy the Festival!

Formed in 1992, the band has developed a distinctive sound characterized by solid grooves, compelling melodies, and strong musicianship, fusing multiple music genres into a musical tour de force. Their music is steeped heavily in the blues and R&B, with influences of soul, jazz, roots traditional, Latin and rock, creating an exciting and unique sound.

The Kim Pollard Band  We are delighted to present the winner of our 2012 ‘Road to Memphis Challenge’ and our 2012 representatives in the Band category at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis TN.
While in Memphis they were featured in the 1st Great Canadian Polar Bear Blues Showcase at the Kooky Canuck, organized by our friends from the Ottawa and Montreal Blues Societies
Kim was raised in the Nappanee area, started singing in church when she was ten and has been writing and composing music since the age of 12.
With her unique powerhouse voice backed up by her seasoned and talented musicians: Roger Law (bass guitar); Bruce Cowle (keys and trumpet); Paul Stacey (sax); Kherson Amell (drums); and Matt Woodward (guitar), she touches her audience with each and every performance. All the members of the band are local and live and work in the Kingston, Nappanee and Belleville area.
